Future Medical Leaders
The Future Medical Leaders course is a 4-week online course with 20 hours of live classes for ages 16-18 which prepares students with a comprehensive understanding of current advances in medical sciences – from the molecular basis of diseases to advanced diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
This is the perfect course for you if you are planning to study medicine, medical sciences, pharmacy or biomedical sciences at University.
The course aims to equip participants with critical thinking skills and research capabilities. It has been designed to train students with state-of-the-art approaches to tackle the challenges in the medical field. The programme also offers modules on artificial intelligence in healthcare, leadership and entrepreneurship skills (no prior experience is required, making it a great opportunity to build knowledge from the ground up).
Through class-based lessons and one-to-one discussion with an Oxbridge tutor, students can elevate their knowledge and skills, irrespective of their geographical location.
Scholarships
There are multiple scholarships available for the Future Medical Leaders programme.
100% scholarships (worth £1390, equivalent to $1750 USD)
50% scholarships (worth £695, equivalent to $875 USD)
30% scholarships (worth £417, equivalent to $526 USD)

Sujath Abbas
Dr. Sujath Abbas is a distinguished scholar with a Ph.D. in medical sciences from the University of Cambridge, UK. He was a Research Associate at the renowned Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute. He is currently serving as Principal Scientist at GSK company. Dr. Abbas is at the forefront of cutting-edge medical research. In addition to his role, he holds the esteemed position of College Research Affiliate at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge. Dr. Abbas is a trailblazer in the field, contributing to groundbreaking discoveries and shaping the future of healthcare.

Hadi Modarres
Dr Hadi Modarres received his PhD in Engineering from Selwyn College, University of Cambridge. Hadi has worked as a data scientist in healthcare for over six years. He uses machine learning techniques to identify patients at risk of disease. He is one of the co-founders and directors of Impetus Education.

Shahab Akhavan
Dr. Shahab Akhavan holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge and continued as a Research Associate at the Cambridge University. During his time at Cambridge, he completed two entrepreneurship programs, one at Cambridge Judge Business School and another at the Maxwell Centre. He later joined University College London (UCL) as a Lecturer. He is passionate about translating research and educational innovations into commercial opportunities. He serves as the tutor for the entrepreneurial section of this program.

Usman Bhatti
Usman Bhatti received his Masters in Engineering from the University of Cambridge. His Master's project focused on a low order unsteady flow model for turbomachinery. After graduating with a specialisation in Aerospace Engineering, Usman pursued a career in industry. He has over ten years of mentoring and industry experience, including working on European Space Agency projects as well as working as a Senior Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover. He is an MBA candidate at London Business School and a guest tutor at Impetus Education.
